Grant Proposals

College Bound Tennessee

Helping Students Finance College

Our foundation’s primary goal is to invite grant proposals from high school guidance counselors and nonprofit organizations within Knox County, Tennessee. We seek to identify academically talented students who face socio-economic challenges hindering their access to higher education.

Vision

Creating generational change through education.

Mission

To support students facing economic barriers to education

Process

Students will submit a one-page application outlining their goals and aspirations. The Board will review applications, selecting recipients based on merit and need. Financial support will be provided to students as long as they continue making satisfactory academic progress, subject to the Board’s discretion.

Mentorship

Board members will offer mentorship when deemed valuable or necessary, providing guidance to help students navigate their academic journeys

Awards

Financial assistance will be tailored to the individual needs identified by students in their applications. Support may cover expenses such as transportation (e.g., gas, car repairs), child care, books, and supplies – addressing financial barriers that impede students’ ability to attend and succeed in college.
