Lead Dining Attendant/Server
Setting up dining room ensuring the dining area is clean, neat and sanitary. Provides quick, efficient, and pleasant delivery of food to residents and guests, ensuring all quality standards of food and services are being met. Ensures good customer service, safety and proper handling of dishes, glassware and utensils.
- Meets Parkview standards
- Maintain continental breakfast area and assist residents with breakfast items
- Make sure all residents dinner menus are accounted for and highlighted
- Put continental breakfast away and restock low supplied items
- Takes food orders, presents to the kitchen staff and delivers meals to residents and guests in a proper and timely manner
- Responds quickly to resident and guest requests. Interact with guests in dining room to ensure their satisfaction
- Ensures accurate fulfillment of orders and presentation
- Removes each course before the next meal is served
- Responds to community issues or concerns that may occur in the dining areas. Report issues or concerns to Director
- Removes dirty dishes, disposing of refused and waste materials, and restock inventory as needed
- Keeps bistro, buffet, serving area and dining room clean, neat, and sanitary
- Washes and stacks dishes
- Collects and places garbage and trash in designated containers
- Empties trash and cleans trash cans
- Removes dirty dishes and returns them directly to dishwashing area
- Sweeps and mops floor daily
- Makes sure ice cream and tot chocolate machines are full and exterior is clean
- Assures that coffee is available for residents and guest
- Pre-sets tables for meals
- Makes sure that there are fresh flowers or seasonal décor on tables
- Serves meals from the left and removes meals from the right
- Present a clean and neat appearance, wearing Parkview polo, name badge, aprons and non-skid shoes
- Answers phones in a timely manner
- Assists residents and guests as needed
- Fully knowledgeable of the fire alarms system and procedures
- Maintains appropriate degree of confidentiality
- Performs other duties as assigned and which relate to the success of Parkview
