Although the Christmas season is considered a time of celebration and frivolity, it is also a time of mixed emotions, as we cherish the memories of past celebrations with loved ones who are no longer with us. This is the very reason Parkview goes above and beyond to provide a festive environment for its residents, incorporating new and old traditions, encouraging everyone to participate and enter into the joy of this season!
Decorations, lights, and holiday music fill the halls of Parkview in December, and the atmosphere is transformed into a comfy-cozy Hallmark movie! Christmas themed games abound at all Parkview locations, including Bingo, cards, Scrabble, and so much more! Visitors will be caroling and providing special music through the month of December, and both the Maryville and North Knoxville locations are having very special programs this year:
Parkview’s Maryville location is hosting a Christmas Escape Room this season! Savor the traditional fun that everyone enjoys, this one with a Christmas theme that is sure to bring endless challenge and Merry to this Christmas season!
The Parkview North Knoxville location will be presenting its own Live Nativity, performed by the Parkview servers! Entitled “Come to Bethlehem Night,” the employees will be dressed in nativity costume, singing and dancing. It will be a genuine stroll through Bethlehem for the Parkview residents!
In addition to the many planned activities at our various Parkview locations, our residents always tend to create their own fun throughout the holidays. Planned baking with friends or spontaneous carol-singing is shared, and many take advantage of the endless abundance of Hallmark Christmas movies to host others and have great fellowship in the privacy of their own homes. The advantages of community living are in abundance this holiday season!
